This whole thing is even more ridiculous. This backlash isn’t happening because he was silent on the genocide, he’s been silent on it for years. At no point did he need to denounce the genocide, he just had to speak up internally and say “well that’s Macklemore’s opinion on it and I’m not going to stifle a fellow artist’s speech like that”.

There’s certainly a chance he’s a narcissist - I don’t know him personally. But this whole situation doesn’t inherently mean he’s one. He’s just an absolute sell-out coward bitch that decided it was more important to not “rock the boat” than to use his platform to back up his friend and more importantly denounce genocide.
