Ig I’d put more value to that if I spent my life in my car. But I don’t live in my car anymore, so I don’t value being in the car as long as i used to. My commute rarely gets passed 20mi anymore, and my commute is opposite of traffic. So any given day, I’m spending less than an hour in the car, I don’t need it to be that nice, on top of that, I don’t want to get a bunch of sand or mud in a nice, harder to clean interior. IG nice interiors don’t match my lifestyle.
Loving the existence of competition in the USUABLE 3 row EV sector, but the EV9 just has it beat for the price. Plus, probably cheaper to insure as well, and with better efficiency.

I got no beef with Tesla, its the shitty drivers of Teslas that I have beef with. They’re some dumbass motherfuckers. Speeding, no turn signals, tailgating, hogging charging stalls and not plugging in. Worst humans on the planet.

I feel like people often forget that Volvo as a whole even exists. Idk I guess other brands make more compelling options? Like an Ioniq 5 or an EV6 just have a presence to them that make them stand out. ID.4 is forgettable as well tho.
PHEVS are the best. You can travel for hundreds of miles and not worry that the charger near you is currently being hogged by some assholes Model 3.
Rav4 Prime and the new Prius Prime, literally have enough range for the average Americans commute and back. The Rav gets the leg up cus it’s AWD and is a beast in the snow. Toyota should kill the BZ4X and use all those batteries and factories into making more Rav4 Primes. They’re excellent unicorns.
That’s why he said “acceptable” for some reason the Bolt is on no one’s radar even when it is everything a cheap EV that everyone’s been asking for. The Model 3 is like twice as expensive, with the shittier touch screen controls. Bolt is supreme, and I die on this hill.
The sheer amount of EV’s sitting in lots now… and the ability to go on cars.com and find thousands of em… back in late 2021 to early 2022, I tried searching for EV’s to buy on cars.com and couldn’t find SHIT. Now in 2023, there’s a fuckton of EV’s for sale. And I tell you, I was on cars.com every single day looking for a Bolt to buy in early 2022. I would’ve sprung for an EV if I waited, but I needed a car right away.
Hybrids? Much harder to find, especially Toyota hybrids. My local dealers are constantly trying to get more Priuses and Corolla Hybrids in stock, and Rav4 Primes are basically impossible to find, even used. I can go on cars.com and find 100 used Model Y’s in my area, heck even on Facebook. No one is selling their hybrids on Facebook or any site.
Idk about regular EV’s but you said Tesla so let me break it down.
This is completely subjective and just from what I’ve observed, but it’s happened with such frequency that I cannot help but notice. I often find Tesla drivers parked at Lv2 chargers and all too frequently, not plugged in. This is a major shithead move to actual first gen EV drivers who only have 40-60mi on their ranges.
On top of that, they’ve seem to have quickly usurped BMW’s ‘no-turn-signal’ reputation. And the go next to you at a red light so they can accelerate and quickly cut you off reputation from BMW.
I deal with this shit on the daily, and I can’t be the only one who notices. Only difference is I’m not a coal roller that will flip you off or key your car, cus I’m smart enough to know about sentry mode.
Again, not every Tesla driver does this, but it’s too often to not notice. I should create an album for all the pics of Model 3/Y that I find hogging a charger.
