An interesting note here is that the article mentions the resemblance to the eVX concept from Suzuki, which suggests this is one of the original cars Toyota said they’d be working on all the way back in 2019. At the time they also mentioned they’d be working on the model with Daihatsu, which suggests this could be a global model.

No way this is coming to America, because we can’t have nice things.
Its a Toyota EV there’s no way this is going to show up anywhere in the world for at least ten years or so Toyota hates EVs this is just good PR to cover up the fact.
If the Volvo ex30 ends up doing well in the US then I bet this would come too.
Seriously, if ppl complain about Tesla’s vaporware, one should check out all the never released products from Toyota.
Less announcing EVs, more selling and shipping EVs to customers.
