Kids being kids don’t realize how much parents see, just because parents have experience, and know more about the world and the possibilities.
Parents often suspect before the kid is even thinking about it. Some parents shove their heads in the sand, and vehemently reject the idea, we all know who, and pity the kid with those parents. Others are cool about it. Or, cool enough, it can be hard to accept when the realization first comes.

My nephew has been on T for a while now. He told his mom the deep voice was from COVID 🤣 he’s planning on waiting till after top surgery to tell her so she doesn’t kick him off her insurance. I think she’ll be supportive, but there’s trust issues between them.
