I was, um, gently informed by a teacher once that you can say the pledge without “under God” and it sounds natural as it was originally intended. This blew my mind as a young atheist and made me realize how pervasive religion is.

Having said that, I’m still hoping that Physics Girl gets better and makes it back to the spotlight. Poor lady fell ill during the pandemic and has been bed-ridden for years. I hope she’s doing better at least for herself and her family.

He’s passionate and wants to share that with people in his own way. I don’t mind that. I want to see more people who inspire us into those ideals even if they don’t fulfill them themselves.
