their models are no longer desirable to anyone, they threw out their enthusiast models for the most part and have pivoted to boring crossovers and CUVs and their offerings there aren’t competitive and their brand has baggage with that segment’s buyer’s anyway

then they ruined their interiors for the most part.

unfortunately this is going to be tough to rebuild from, there’s nothing really good or interesting in the pipeline other than the id buzz and that’s going to be so overpriced that it won’t sell

Electric aircraft are mostly a novelty at this point. even for training, they simply don’t have the range to be very useful. Flight schools need quick turnaround on their trainers, most of them will fly literally all day and this is not a practicality for electric aircraft right now.

As of today this aircraft barely has enough range to complete the necessary XC flight requirements let alone returning to base with reserves. These are basically useful for pattern work and maneuvers in close proximity to their home field.

Additionally, this thing is woefully underpowered and will struggle getting 2 standard Americans aloft
