PSA: Lidl (at least in sweden) has a bunch of stuff that is not just cheaper but better, most of their chocolate stuff is fairtrade!
Dunno if it’s Aldi’s brand or not, but every different kind of Clancy’s chips I’ve tried have been better than their big brand equivalent.

My aldi always has name brand candy.
But usually they have knockoffs too, and often the knockoffs have higher quality ingredients.
They taste a little different, which for some people can be a turnoff, especially for junk food snacks. They’re usually not worse, they’re just not the familiar childhood taste.
ALDIs (HOFER) where I live have started only carrying their own brands.
