Thanks for the info, my right stick is louder than the left and does it more often. Hopefully it will get better over time.

I think it looks great at high setting 30fps lock.
How are your sticks? My LE sticks make a click sometimes when moved from the neutral position. Seems like a common thing with the steam deck sticks but I find it annoying. The rest of my unit is perfect.
Keep dropping ur price and be patient. It will sell.
I’ve noticed my right stick is a bit louder than the left side. It makes the sound more often and louder. I can just slightly feel it when it does it sometimes too. Is that how your units are? I’m contemplating if I should rma but from the sounds of it they will all do it and it’s not worth the hassle. We should be getting hall effect joy sticks sooner or later as an upgrade option.I have heard those sticks are much smoother and quieter.
Anyone have issues with there sticks making clicking sounds when moved from the neutral position? Both my sticks do this but the right does it more and louder. If I have my volume at 75 or louder I don’t notice it but in the am playing with volume low it can get annoying. Non of my Xbox controllers do this but my ps5 controllers do something similar.
I would just return it. Who ever buys it will have no warranty.
Titanfall 2 is amazing at 90hz on the oled deck. I forgot how good that game is. I’ve started playing online on my Xbox again.
Elden ring looks great.
I’ve seen those. It keeps the sticks from hitting the body. That’s not the sound I’m talking about it. It makes the click sound as soon as you move the stick. I grabbed my ps5 controllers and they both do this as well. I guess I notice it more when I’m playing in the am and the room is quiet and volume is turned down. When I play my ps5 my stereo is on or I’m wearing a headset so I never noticed the sound before.
My LE is perfect, no dead pixels, every button works as it should and no stick drift. Love the device,
My LE is perfect, no dead pixels and all buttons triggers and trackpads work as they should. No issues with drift etc. Looking forward to playing it all day.
I regret nothing……NOTHING!!!
Nice thanks.
Do you mean the LE or the oled in general? I had the old deck and the oled screen is a HUGE upgrade and worth the money to me. Not to mention much better battery life. It’s a bigger upgrade than I thought it was going to be. I would call this steam deck 1.5.
I have checked my screen a number of times and have not seen any dead pixels. I have the LE.
How does your thumb stick click like you go round in a circle?
Yes it’s possible
I admit I’m very picky but the ally had lots of issues with buttons. Squeaky bumpers, sticks with a huge amount drift, one unit had a cluster of dead pixels.
I think 30fps feels great on it. Elden ring at high setting 30fps in hdr is amazing.
