My LE has been working great no dead pixels or any other issues. But have noticed though the sticks make a click when moved from neutral, especially going forward. From what I’ve seen online so far it seems like they all do it. I have noticed the right stick is louder and does it more often then the left and I can also slightly feel it sometimes. I guess there is no point of a rma. Can anyone confirm theres are similar? I find it very annoying since I’m used to Xbox sticks and they make no sound. I was wanting to do Hall effect sticks once they are available, but I’m also hearing the LE model is harder to open. Not sure how much true there is to this.

I’ve noticed on both the LE and the 1TB OLED. It’s usually on the forward and back, but not to the sides. It’s really annoying.

After testing 5 Steam Deck OLEDs (not all mine :D ) which ALL have the exactly same sound and reading tons of comments about it, i think EVERY steam Deck has it. But not everyone hears it. So annoying. If it doesnt get better in maybe 2 months, i think i am going to sale it.

It happens on most of the Decks, sometimes the sticks make a click noise (less or more audible). It happens because of the wire going around the stick. The solution is opening the deck and repositioning the wire so it will not catch on the plastic part of joystick. Or, if it is really annoying/bad, contact valve, they have been pretty good with replacing it for a brand new one. On my OG Q1 Deck , left stick is completely silent , right makes a tiny click noise, since it doesn’t affect functionality for me, I got used to it.
