It’s kind of the opposite. The EV is our primary car & the PHEV is the summer road trip vehicle.

It’s not hearing, it’s using them. My in-laws have two Volvos. An XC-90 and an XC-60. I hate driving them because of the entire way they work. I don’t use Android, but that only matters using Nav or media. The reviews on the new little electric one (EX30) have been positive, but i haven’t seen the UI to see if it’s better. But that’s just my opinion, go to a dealer and play with one yourself.

Personally, I don’t like the current Volvo designs, but the infotainment system is absolutely maddening and that is the reason I won’t even consider them right now. The new gen stuff is getting good reviews, so hopefully they will improve dramatically in the next few iterations.

Investment continues, they just need to pay for the UAW contracts and it’s an easy place to pull funds from since they are not spent. EVs continue to grow and outpace all other types of vehicles in that growth. It’s a big market.
