They should just call full-time on this France-Gibraltar game.

Even in a youth game to maintain fitness, Fabio’s leaving with something.
Played the sweet ball for Henry’s cup goal against Leeds too.
I used to be a Heat. Since he’s retired, I still follow the league keenly but I just root for my favourite players. There are some young, talent-rich squads but it’s so tough projecting how they’ll develop with all the player movement.
Fully agreed. The big move won’t be till the summer but short of Zumbimendi (who might not even be on the table like you said), I’m not really seeing clear, quality options. Maybe a few emerge over the rest of the season.
Who’s top of your ‘realistic’ CM list for Jan/next summer?
Tribalism has historically played a big factor in west African national team selection but I think that’s it’s just arbitrary that a lot of the current best Ghanaian players are Muslim.
United are a dumpster fire in totality but the Mount and Amrabat deals are genuinely hilarious. The former was the marquee summer signing and can’t start in their biggest game of the season. The latter cost £8.5 to loan in and already looks like middling business at best.
This where some of you guys set yourself up for disappointment. Banking on William and Leno to inspire Fulham to a result against a significantly better Spurs squad? Let’s be real.
Their game against Palace could be interesting.
There likely won’t be one. Unless he’s picked up another knock, he’ll feature Tuesday night.
Reclamation Project FC
His “stunted” development at City has been weird. At Villa, he started wide but always had the freedom to cut inside and create. Pep has turned him into a touch-line winger but he doesn’t have the electricity to take on and beat fullbacks the way other wingers in that system have in recent seasons. I’ve always felt he could thrive if given a central creative role but he’ll never get that City or for England.
Two great comps of his ‘03/04 and ‘05/06 seasons to give you a feel.
