It would only effect the conversation I terms of number 1 manager the century or of all time etc. He is an excellent manager, but there are factors that go into that he said so himself, he is excellent when he has “A/S ranked” players available but by his own admission he is no where near as effective when working with “B class” players and below. Can’t quite remember the quote but he said if he managed Leeds he would get them relegated or something.

So it will just be another factor in the conversation I assume for many it will bump him down places but some still regard him as the best manager still in the game some don’t because of all the controversy around Man City and Barcelona when he was about and that takes away from his accomplishments.

Finally, this could be great for football but realistically it’s probably going to be inconsistent as hell.

I miss Xhaka a lot. Obviously have a modified playstyle this season but I miss his long passing. Also redemption arc personified was sad to see him go.

The balondor would be a great award if the proper criteria for worldwide player of the year was less subjective and if you took away this corporate conference style system they have for it. I remember watching the CL draw this year and if you’re drawing out something that can be done in 15mins over 1h30mins you’re doing something wrong, I imagine balondor is similar not watched it in ages.

I agree they will get a fine that they can afford, unsure about the transfer ban, bit I reckon they will get a small points deduction. One that won’t matter for relegation but might affect a title run.

I want English teams to win the CL but also don’t want them to hold it over us. I’ve supported English teams in the past other than Arsenal in all Europe comps especially in ones we’re not competing in that year like West Ham last year. But I don’t think I could ever support Spurs tbh.
