despite being owned by a state with which the UK has many interests economically will it be one of the cases that might go unpunished?

This ownership situation does raise some valid concerns about the integrity of the league. It’s important that all clubs are held to the same standards and face consequences if they break the rules. Let’s hope the appropriate actions are taken to ensure fairness and accountability in the Premier League.

There is absolutely no chance city and its players and manager are too profitable for the FA, SKY and BT sport etc the sponsors would complain, the tv companies would complain and the FA would lose hundreds of millions

Realistically to many people tune into every game to see the worlds best players every week for city to be at any risk especially under pep who has more pull and gets more decisions than anyone else in the country and it’s not remotely close

Charges are only up to 2018 , so maybe ones before that but look how quickly everyone got over and forgot about Juve. Oh well that will be fun

City (or Chelsea for that matter) will not be punished. the PL, The FA, UEFA and FIFA are all incredibly corrupt and the UAE money will flow through all of those institutions to ensure nothing happens.

Football is becoming no better than the WWE. Scripted winners backed by the governing body.

Meh realistically no there is way too much reputation and money at risk for the pl. Its absolutely awful and if they are guilty then I wish they would just throw the book at them or any team that does but it won’t unfortunately. Also the rule breaches are just financial aren’t they so nowhere near as bad as Juventus or most other Serie A teams have had in the past.

If MC gets away with their numerous violations after what happened to Everton just with a minor slap on the wrist, I’d lose all of the remaining fate in this competition.

Best case scenario they will receive a “warning” They are rich and powerful. Bad things never happen to the rich and powerful.
