It seems like a fair price. The market is pretty small for this car and as others have mentioned the carbon hood is of questionable taste and likely takes away value

It’s a cool car even though it seems like most people on this sub would hate the kind of person who would buy it. I like it though, I hope it finds a good home with someone who keeps it going strong

Have you driven both? There’s a reason these cars are never cross-shopped, they are completely different.

If you don’t know which you want after driving both, then you just don’t know what you want. They are not very similar apart from being straight 6 BMWs with similar power numbers.

I have an old S54 in my Z4M. It’s the perfect motor for a convertible. The sound of the NA straight 6 in an open top is wonderful

It’s a well loved car for a reason, and its issues are well documented (subframe, VANOS, rod bearings) so just find a good example and enjoy!
