Hey ya’ll, starting to window shop, haven’t gotten serious, but my eye is leaning towards some thing between 50k -75k miles.
If I do pull the trigger, it will mainly be used as a weekend car in socal and occasional errand run during the week.
What should I be looking out for, never purchased an older BMW before and I’ve heard/read different things about M engines.
Originally I was considering a Porsche, but they are too much for my blood.

I have an old S54 in my Z4M. It’s the perfect motor for a convertible. The sound of the NA straight 6 in an open top is wonderful
It’s a well loved car for a reason, and its issues are well documented (subframe, VANOS, rod bearings) so just find a good example and enjoy!
