I’m looking for my next car, I currently have a ZHP E46 and I love the chassis a lot but it feels wrong buying “the same car” so I’m thinking F32, but then again, on one side there is a true M car and on the other side there’s the B58 and a non rusting chassis (at least yet).
Prices are the same currently in Germany.

Have you driven both? There’s a reason these cars are never cross-shopped, they are completely different.
If you don’t know which you want after driving both, then you just don’t know what you want. They are not very similar apart from being straight 6 BMWs with similar power numbers.
