See for me, the only thing wrong with the Cucurella/Haaland penalty is that it took five minutes to confirm it. I don’t love the call, but it was not an obvious error and it should only have taken one or two replays to move on.

Honestly I felt the same way until playing the new system on Football Manager. Now I really like it. They fucked up by making it 8 group stage games instead of keeping it at 6 but otherwise im excited for the change.

I don’t think getting rid of VAR is the answer. We just need competence and transparency from the people running it. Because frankly this is embarrassing for the league and the sport.
