I can’t speak for eveyone butnas a fan, I typically like watching my team so I don’t want to see a reduction in fixtures. If anything I would like to see more but we keep losing games and our most prestigious trophy is the Watney Cup.

They play exactly as well as their opponents in most games, regardless of who those opponents are. They have been known for years to have a solid defence, great balance in midfield, and somehow haven’t found the right finisher for some time.

It would mean that the top refereeing talent from other countries would come to the Prem. Money is the only reason why the best players are here.
That’s really interesting, I never would have thought that public infrastructure would be funded by privately owned sports teams.
If there was a salary cap, then any surplus income that can’t be paid to the team would be kept by the board members. Currently the money goes to the players. As the players are the ones generating the income and creating the value, the majority of people are pleased with them profiting from their labour.
As a footnote, leagues without promotion and relegation are not seen by many (association) football fans as equitable.

If it’s not clear and obvious then the onfield decision must stand, that’s been the “selling point” of VAR since before it was introduced when there were some justified fears that games would be over-officiated.
