Well except for the other ones. VW group made over half a million by Q3. BYD at a bazillion, probably over a million easily, BMW is at hundreds of thousands too.
I’m leaving out the Chinese manufacturers I don’t know but a couple are really high too.
I doubt this makes a difference. Like the previous commenter said, it’s about knock resistance.
The chademo port is dead. Nobody installs them anymore in Europe so leafs are mostly being relegated to intra city driving. CCS2 is everywhere though.
240V tools and appliances don’t necessarily use more power. They can but for the same output power the efficiency should be better with less losses to heat.
We get power outages at our cottage sometimes. But it’s pretty much always during winter storms so we aren’t there anyway. It’s also on an island so no way to get the car there anyway.
Damn. What about us who live in a place with no natural disasters. It snows a bit but that’s about it.
I feel left out.
Why would the center differential fare better when it is there to solve a problem that does not exist in the two motor setup in the first place?
At least the Tang is pretty shitty IMO. The infotainment felt like an old android, it makes all kinds of weird noises and the external passenger warning is super loud inside the car. The suspension was pretty bad as well, I just couldn’t appreciate it.
In addition to slow DC charging it doesn’t have three phase charging so you don’t get 11kW and in practice even 7kW is tough.
It also doesn’t require nearly as much amperage to run the electronics as it does to crank a cold engine.
I’ve had 12V batteries fail on ICE cars several times.
