I’m not saying it would make Kai come good. I’m saying it’s worth a shot.

In the MLB, there’s a player named Trea Turner who signed a huge contract for the Phillies and was doing horribly. He got booed for a while, but one game, the Phillies fans all gave him a standing ovation and went nuts backing him. It completely turned around his season. He wound up being a critical piece for them, and the team as a whole started winning a lot more. It’s amazing what backing a player can do, and I hope we back Kai.

And this is after everyone was giving them credit for the process on the one they released. Clearly they just release the one that looked better. It’s all a PR exercise.

I don’t want him to be a nailed on starter, but he’s a good depth piece.

We should be able to beat Luton with some rotation, and if we take care of business against Lens, we can rotate heavily against PSV.

I could shitpost on Twitter for way less than that if that’s what they’re looking for.
