  • NGL I’d be upset too if my deck hadn’t arrived before a holiday. I ordered a retroid pocket 2S for my birthday but at the last minute I got bumped to the back of the line and had to wait 2 weeks before I got it. I also agree that some shipping services are pretty ass.

That being said, nothing you can do now but wait. Getting upset unfortunately doesn’t do anything but give you a headache. Take a breather and carry on. You will get it sooner than later and when you do it’ll be worth the wait, I promise you that.

  • Got an oled. Handhelds I feel benefit more from picture quality than raw performance. There’s a youtuber named mystic that reviewed the Playstation Portal recently and he put it perfectly: “alot of triple A games weren’t designed to be played on small screens” and he’s 100% right. Let’s take for example a game like cyberpunk. Is it neat to play it on a handheld? Yeah, definitely. Is it as enjoyable as playing it on a

Some of the best purchases I’ve ever made were things I bought knowing full well I wanted it, not needed it. When you accept your purchase is a luxury, you don’t feel forced into seeing an immediate return on your investment. You enjoy it for what it is and enjoy it at your own pace.

Long story short, if you want it, buy it. Take your time. Also I wouldn’t recommend packing it to the gills with games immediately. Install them and play them one at a time. It’s more enjoyable that way I think.

  • I’d say any game with a grind, in other words, RPG’s. Sure there’s a story and progressing in the story requires thought but you can pick and choose when you want to progress. If you just want to sit there and grind for hours at end, you can do that and the longer you do it, the easier the game gets. Eventually you can beat the game and add another notch to your gaming belt so it doesn’t feel like a complete time loss.

Also skateboarding games. No thought process required. Just do big combos until time runs out. Do that constantly trying to beat your best score.
