Same lol. The preorders in 2021 were to help them determine demand before scaling production. This time, they already had a decent idea of what to expect regarding demand, so they produced enough to launch immediately.

When the servers died and you didn’t get your Deck you pre-ordered within the first half hour until a full calendar year later.

I had to wait an entire year for my Aya neo because of chip shortages in 2021 and I still want my OLED before Thanksgiving lol.

I just purchased the 512 version back in August. I remember the excitement and joy I felt throughout the whole process. The OLED with 1 tb is very tempting, but mine is loaded up with blasphemous ready to go for thanksgiving travel!

I preordered my Deck the day the preorders went up in 2021, took a couple months after launch to get it in 2022, fast forward to today and I must’ve spent over a 1000 hours on it and love it and really don’t care I had to wait.

I just got my deck last week that i had bought last year due the customs fuckery in my country that held the package for almost an entire year and then said they would only receive it after sending it back to the US and be sent to customs again, that on top of a 93% customs fee that basically had me buy a deck for myself and one for the government.
