current and all past. the 90s and older were even worse somehow.
They’re mostly bought by people who want to look like modern weekend-warrior adventure types despite them not actually being even close to that.
dont forget being petrified if there is a breakdown hence why they spend $60k on a 15 year old design vehicle.
I thought Toyota took a huge amount of backlash for trying this bullshit and dropped the subscription service for features installed in your car.
they did - they were trying to lock the fob remote start command behind a paywall. got a buncha backlash then went woa woa woa we wont do it.
for now…
mitsubishi can go to hell lol. bring back suzuki so i can have a jimny
thi is why your supposed to turn the wheels the correct way so it rolls into the curb and hopefully catches.
lol fun in the wintertime parking on icy slopes/driveways.
i prefer the 14-15 silverados to the 16+. went from retro looking ish to too futuristic
because if a poor person was complaining noone would listen.
yea but politicians and other people with power dont give a shit about the poor
yes? same reason why a ton of laws and such in the US gets passed is the rich people get pissy.
So that’s the story of why the advert got banned -
in otherwords rich people with connections got it banned
If its squeakin theres no real fix. You can take em apart and put some silicone grease on the motorshaft where it rides in the bushings but doesnt last long
here is my favorite french microcar

i want one so bad only because its like the epitome of absolute basic car in every single detail lol
i mean since its not a tapered plug its pretty worthless to put tape on the threads and a chance of tape fragments of it getting sucked into or against the oil pump screen.
i cant say ive ever replaced a crush washer or anything and also havent had leaks…
yup - i wish my new trucks got even dimmer.
i think it was SAAB that had a button on the dash that killed most of the interior lights except for the spedometer
if engine light was blinking it means its actively misfiring. could be a few things unfortinately so without codes we cant help much.
0000steel wool and bug n tar remover or chrome polish. Looks like mainly brake dust.
well your toolkit is overkill and only good for tires lol.
you really should have:
4 hose clamps - large enough to fit a radiator hose but they can also be used to string up a rusted off muffler or crudely hold something together
4 or 10 in one screwdriver
basic slip pliers
needle nose pliers
channel locks
basic 3/8" rachet set metric with some extensions (10mm-18mm)
old flathead for poking and scraping.
set of sae and metric allen keys.
utility knife with extra blades
cig lighter air pump.
jumper cables
leather work gloves
wind up flashlight
at least one black garbage bag
the tools all fit in an old metal blowtorch box (maybe 12" wide, 8" deep, 4" tall) and most were sourced from those $1 tool tarps at swap meets or harbor freight
ive had to utilize some of it before or had to help others who were in a pickle in the middle of nowhere. I do maintain my cars and replace stuff before its an issue but sometimes shit happens and its nice to be self sufficient. You run something over that gets wrapped around a driveshaft or caught somewhere under the car youve got pliers where you can cut/pull whatever it is or box knife to slice off whatever you can, ive had those cold asphalt patches get stuck to my tire as i drove over them - nothin like scraping asphalt off a tire and trying to race time before it sets up harder, have had flat tires on wet muddy gravel roads - nice to kneel or lay on a clean dry garbage bag, ive had bolts rattle loose before somehow (maybe forgot to tighten it all the way?) etc.
i mean it is older and higher miles. could be lotsa stuff. The dealership likely has no obligation to help you out in any way so by them saying they will cover something is literally a freebee.
