Mitsubishi, weirdly enough, where I’m from (Philippines), they are doing just fine, but they are struggling everywhere else. Mitsubishi have a special place in our hearts, we love our box-type Lancers, Galants, and especially Pajeros. Today though Evos are gone, the Eclipse is an SUV, I really loved the new Mirage but they never thought of making a hot hatch, which would have been perfect!
Nissan and Holden are my suggestions.
Best 2 cars I’ve ever owned were a Mitsubishi Diamante and a Dodge Stealth (which was a GT 3000 with Dodge branding). My youngest son’s first new car was a Galant. Can’t think of a Mitsubishi I’d actively seek out to buy from the current lineup up but if their designers ever pull their head out and design again, I’ll listen.
Nissan
In my opinion, the Lamborghini Bravo Bertone will make a huge comeback.
Source: Trust me broSaturn.
Cheap reliable eco cars. No extra crap literally just car.
Pontiac. GM refused to sell the brand for some reason so I’m hoping to see them come back. I never understood why they gave Pontiac the axe instead of Buick.
SAAB
Holden & Ford. Australian sedans and utes. Nothing like them. The Barra engine in the falcon is possibly one of the greatest engines ever made.
Not necessarily a brand, but definitely a nameplate - I wish Chevy had turned the new Blazer into a proper off-road machine to compete with the Wrangler and the Bronco. WHERE ARE YOU, GM?
I thought when the ev stuff started getting serious, it was a perfect time to bring back Pontiac and make it the niche performance ev brand.
Bricklin and Packard.
Pontiac or Rover.
i have a soft spot for mitsubishi, it’s our first fam car haha (Adventure Super Sport)!! and tanda ko nung bata pa ko super comfy n’yang kotse.
Fiat. They used to follow a formula of making an inconspicuous commuter like the Punto or Palio, and putting a whack engine like the 1.4 T-Jet or 1.6 16v in it, along with some seriously good chassis tuning. Just like the Polo and Golf.
Now Fiat is happy pumping out variants of the 500 and Panda. Both are nice cars in their own right, but a Fiat hot hatch/sedan just hit different.
How has nobody said AMC yet?
