Yeah this season the amount of being boned is unprecedented.

What a player
That performance was impressive by Chelsea and again just reminds me how good we are. We limited them to basically nothing aside from the pen meanwhile they wracked up 3.0 xg against city.
Brighton with another superstar in adingra. This club is insane.
This shit happened last season. When they win it’s by like 1 goal maybe 2 if they’re really on it. They will pick up enough points to get 5th-6th.
Expensive, a little older than I would like and only plays ina transition side.
2 weeks now to get Jesus Odegaard and white back and fit and ready for the next 4 super winnable games. Things are looking good if we can get into the mid 40s at 19 games played and keep mostly everyone fit until Jan. There’s some crazy volume of games in December though but hopefully that last champions league game won’t even matter and we can play elneny and Cedric and shit.
Yeah I think this is obviously a big part of it. The coaching staff wouldve been livid after the injury two seasons ago. The one where he felt something, didn’t say anything, played for 2 months and then his knee went coming out of the shower.
They got hit with that exact pattern and dink to the back post in the first half from the onana save
Gotta say I don’t get jealous of other teams transfers very often because I feel there’s always another player out there but I feel like we missed out on szobozlai. Would’ve been perfect for us and probably a better fit than havertz.
Neto with what looked like a really bad muscle injury. Really unfortunate for him. Think that changes for me whether or not we should go for him tbh
My thoughts on spurs:
They’re way better than I thought they’d be. Some of the guys starting for them are way better than I thought. Van de ven, udogie, porro, the two cms.
They are still massively overperforming their metrics. While all top teams overperform their xg for the most part; not many teams overperform their xga and they’re around mid table for xga so they’ve gotten lucky there.
They are an injury to any of Romero, son or Maddison away from collapse imo.
They’ve played one game against the top half of the table away which was us although so have we and I think both us and them have a brutal second half to the season.
Some random guy claiming to be an itk posts some random rumor every day on Twitter. Today it was kubo and zubimendi
There is this ongoing and frankly tiring debate going online about raya and ramsdale. Now two prefaces, one I like ramsdale and think he’s a great keeper and good enough for us and two I don’t have the data for this so if someone does tell me I’m way off that’s fine. Last season at home against city we absolutely fell apart in the second half because we stopped playing out from the back and ramsdale kept hitting the ball ling, they pressed us high and got their two goals and closed out the game. This year against city at home raya had that nervy first 15 minutes and then he put in one of the best gk passing games I’ve ever seen in the second half. Particularly once we had scored and this man was hitting Jesus right on the chest. Imo that willingness to always play out and that long/mid range precision is the difference between beating city and not.
Every game against any team with a good rw we should just play tomi no questions asked. Not only is he a shutdown defender my man was popping up in number 10 spaces.
I made a comment about chelsea not being good despite their start. Both on chance creation, not dictated in field tilt, and in field tilt.
In that same cluster of comments you went to search up I lament our chance creation despite our dominant field tilt which is exactly what scott was doing. Go search up my other comments.
They got some brutalizers on their team in Ramos and lamela. We need to plat well esrly and kill their confidence.
I didn’t watch the game or see the highlights yet but the consensus is that wolves got absolutely fucked again. However!!! This is why all these fuvking cowardly managers should’ve been doing fucking backflips to defend Arteta instead of trying to cover their own asses. Guy makes a comment that applies to everyone and that is true and every manager is asked about it and they all fucking shy away. Tbf to Gary o Neil he’s been complaining about decisions all season. Klopp, Pep and these cowardly pundits need to be Frank about what’s going on.
