I did not realise the captaincy meant so much to Saka. He brought it up while talking to media and already post it about it on his insta, three times.

it should be noted that spurs and city struggled to get all 3 points against Sheffield united and had to rely on last minute goals. just so that we can temper our expectations when its 0-0 after 30m

They also got handed 8 by Newcastle and 3 by Fulham. You’re right in the way that we should prioritize the 3 points above all, but this is one of the few opportunities in this league to get that GD up.

Probable because they set up more defensively against city and spurs only to think they could attack more against Fulham and Newcastle and got punished for it

Spurs are playing great great football man. That 2nd goal of theirs was an absolute peach of a team fast paced goal.

Hopefully we can get back to a high level of football again today vs Sheffield.

I want Vieira starting so we can get Rice in the 6.

Want to see attacking potent possession.

For those who are worried about Spurs: When was the last time they didn’t start a season well?

A season is played over 38 games, not 10, and the end is far more important than the start.

I wasn’t on here back in 2019 and I’m wondering what level of freak out this sub was having when they got to a champions League final lol

Not 2019 but there were some complete wet wipes on here when they went on their mini-terrorism run in 2020 with Mourinho. The West Ham game when they went 3-0 up but drew 3-3 had some of the worst takes I’d ever seen

It was so fucking exhausting, every single post and comment was about them, couple that with that horrendous finish to the season and yeah this sub was a wasteland

The actual Spurs aren’t even trying to hype themselves too much on there imo and then you see some random person explaining to them why they can win the league.

Of course, they don’t hype themselves they know more than anyone that they will fall off a cliff it’s just a matter of time.

This Spurs team remind me of Leicester’s. Everyone didn’t take them seriously enough until it was too late.

They aren’t great but everything is falling for them perfectly, people said it wouldn’t last and it did.

Leicester has literally no competition, not even us who finished second.

This Spurs side has to deal with City, us, Liverpool and Newcastle. And their depth is paper thin compared to the rest.

True. However there is Man City and we know the sort of runs they go on so they will always be the favourites. They weren’t the same Man City then that season.

Saka had fun today. I liked seeing him inside. Might be a remedy for him getting tripled on the wing

Add Cole Palmer to the list of midfielders signed this past window who are a million times better than Havertz at being a midfielder. He is so smart and does the little things midfielders are supposed to do so well. He is the heartbeat of

Its ironic considering that chelsea spent 105m on enzo and 115m on caicedo but their best midfielder by far is Connor Gallagher
