Rice looks great in both the 6 and left 8 positions. Still waiting to see how Rice plays in the team with Partey playing as the 6 instead of Jorginho to truly see what this team is capable of

The fact that his price tag doesn’t get brought up in match threads/post match threads or in general discussion is a testament that he’s worth the price we paid for him

Personally I think it’s all relative. For Arsenal he’s been a great deal and he can become an even better deal still. He’s still integrating into the team, he’s young, and he’s willing to learn. However I don’t think he makes the same impact for every big club based on their specific roster and he doesn’t solve all the problems of a small club which could use the same money spread across several positions. So I would just add that for Arsenal he’s been worth it no doubt.

What the fuck does this even mean? We got rice rice baby, not other teams. no need to focus on hypotheticals. Just enjoy the show.

The title was saying rice is worth 105m. When I posted my comment others were stating their thoughts on how good he’s been and that he was worth the money. I was agreeing and just adding the thought that he might not be worth that to other teams. I don’t get why anyone is bothered by that comment?

I’m often times convinced there are actually 2 guys with Rice kits on out there. One dude makes a great play on defense going towards our goal and the other just appears out of nowhere ever so slightly trailing the forwards on attack.

He’s already worth way more than we paid for him, within a couple of years could be worth double.

Now make sure we have midfield partners around him to get the most out of his talents and that he wins the trophies he deserves to.

So good so far. I don’t remember a bad game he’s had for us. I think he quickly became a fan favorite. Thinking about how long it took Partey to learn how to play that lone 6 role, I can’t wait to see what Rice can do once he’s even more comfortable in our system.

    His consistency astounds me tbh.

I always knew he was good when I watched West Ham play, but seeing him be the best player on the pitch pretty much every single week is insane.

He hasn’t had a bad game yet. Already has some game winners. He never seems to make any mistakes. One thing that stands out for me is his recovery speed. Like a lion catching up to its prey. GOAT signing.
