If I was Rams I would be training ball control, long passing, short passing, even dribbling 3 hours a day at minimum.
And when I come home I would put my vr setup and play for at least 2 hours lol
I get so annoyed when people refer to the league as just “Barclays”. Nobody calls La Liga the “Santander” or Ligue 1 as the “UberEats”. It’s such a small thing but it does my head in 😂
its kinda fun to say ironically
It’s a nickname
Isn’t just premier league now?
That’s the thing! It is just Premier League!! And people still just call it Barclays. I just read something on F365 about Wenger and the writer referred to “the first 15 years of Barclays”…it wasn’t even sponsored by Barclays at all until 2001.
As I said, such a minor thing but…grrrrr
To be honest with you, a lot and I mean a lot of people outside of the UK, that are not in finance, have no idea Barclays is a bank.
It’s a proper fancy sounding English word, that goes well with premier.
I’ve actually seen quite a few people refer to Ligue 1 as UberEats lol
Going to the UAE to watch Walmart face Abu Dhabi in the Barclays.
Does anyone else find Chelsea to be their most hated club?
Nah, easily Man utd for me
Up there.
Chelsea, PSG, United, City, Newcastle are all clubs I loathe. I hate Tottenham too but I feel they are more of a proper football team than all of those.
Time for the usual refrain, “I hate Spurs because I’m a gooner. I hate Chelsea because I’m a human.”
I’m pumped up, I want to us to wreck that circus full of blue clowns.
Best XI of almost-Arsenal players?
which goalkeeper comes to mind?
If you count Cech, he was supposed to come to arsenal before he went to Chelsea.
He didn’t play here at his peak so I don’t know.
Ok, I remember one.
Marcos was almost an Arsenal. Top 10 Brazilian GKs.
Not sure about XI, but Messi, Xabi Alonso, Suarez, Yaya Toure all come to mind…
Another two unsuccessful Silver ballots. Now have a 1/9 success rate, so will be lucky to get to two games this season.
How’s everyone else faring?
Got UTD game on a first try and then failed every attempt since
How do you guys think the fanbase would react if that 4-4 game with Newcastle happened nowadays? Just got reminded of it in the arsenal game recommendations post and remember how livid I was after that shit.
That was the game that convinced me that the refereeing was corrupt. Absolutely farcical decisions.
Nearly got an insight into it vs Brighton last year. So thankful for that lucky offside on Mitoma.
We were under the pump those last 20 minutes. Odegaard masterclass
The idea of a lucky offside is so dumb.
Ref would get slaughtered for horrendous pen decisions
the media & Twitter would treat it like the end of the world has befallen us.
Can’t even imagine what the new crop of YouTubers & podcasts would be like.
Well nowadays you’d automatically assume the Saudis have bribed the referees.
Excited for tomorrow! Finally PL football again, international breaks are truly the worst
A lot of good sport this weekend. UFC, rugby world cup, and return of club football.
It’s funny how it was only last season where Xhaka got Jorginho pissed.
Feels like J20 has been with us much longer lol
Never forget when Sissoko gave away a handball penalty 30 SECONDS into the biggest game in Tottenham’s history.
Sounds very much like an FM sketch, underdog team defies all odds throughout the season, and on the final hurdle vs the big giants, fails with the simplest of mistakes.
It’s the history of the tottenham
Feels like we have had hardly any 3pm kick offs so far this season
That’s good, means we can watch it televised
Any news yet on whether the PL will have a minute of silence for Israel this weekend?
For Palestine?
Think they will just do what the international games did. Hold a minutes silence but be vague about it. In memory of “the people who lost their lives” then don’t name a country.
I thought that was for the murder of the two Sweden fans?
Good question
This sub went got it wrong twice with the Tierney starting left back predictions and now the rotating goalkeepers myth.
Can you imagine how dross this sub would have been over the international break had we lost the man city game
Would be a totally different collection of users active.
Benjen Ryan will come out of retirement to terrorise us once more
90+10 minute winners vs Sheffield United and a team with 9 men, grinding out 1-0 wins vs Luton. Ange ball 🔥🔥🔥
Haven’t you heard? Apparently they’re winning the league this season! Fat Ange at the wheel <3
Should’ve flattened those clowns.
