Personally prefer the Toney and Jesus RW option, he’s really effective on that rw and it brings fantastic balance to the options around him
I understand choosing Neto if you think a better 9 will be attainable, however I think fans underestimate how nearly impossible it is to recruit great 9s in this market
That’s a good point, but it won’t take him half a season to get into the groove of things like it may for a non-prem talent coming in and getting adjusted. It’s not like he’s been sitting at home doing nothing or coming off a huge injury. He’ll definitely be ready to go pretty quickly IMO
Saka is always going to be 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice RW.
Toney and Jesus can fight for #1 striker, and swapped around to change our profile, but when Saka is injured or needs to be taken off, Jesus is an ideal cover.
Not to say it can’t work, but Jesus is our best option up top and (while a very small sample size) has not looked great the few times he has been at RW for us
If you stick Toney in the centre, you can play Jesus on the right, so it wouldn’t be one or the other in that sense, though still not ideal.

Could have a Saka - Toney - Jesus front 3 as well spamming crosses into Toney if it comes to it.
Toney is also Prem proven and can go from Day 1. He’s a safe “bet”
Toney quite literally cannot go from Day 1. He’s not played any football since May, and is banned until 16 January.

What are the odds that Toney would join Arsenal?
I agree. Havertz as backup CF with Jesus and Saka on RW would give us enough depth to have a chance of winning the league this year.
Jesus and toney in a front three oof
Jesus said he came here to play 9 and was promised that. I doubt he’d be happy on the right wing for long
Mr Ruthless will have to put the club first

not permanent RW.

No, he said he is happy as long as he is on the pitch
In this scenario it’s Jesus displacing Saka so that’s only going to happen rarely
