It’s a pity because it is the prettiest little electric car on the market, but as everyone has said, specs and price are not right. They should keep the design, increase the battery and reduce the price. It would sell like crazy
I think they’re too afraid of something like that eating into their affordable ICE vehicles, which have waaaay more profit margins. In my view the Honda e was never meant to sell well. Its purpose is to work out the bugs and really dial in how to make a fantastic electric car. They’re going to keep fucking around until battery tech gets legitimately cheap. At that point they’ll go all in and release stuff like an affordable Honda-e with high range.

Hope so. I’d like a smaller EV but can’t stand the look of Minis.

I think it looks horrible.
Burning hot take, cus everyone else loves it. Best looking EV on market along with the Ioniq 5.
I have no idea what you’re saying, but it seems like your attempting to diminish my opinion by saying “bUt EvErYoNe ElSe lOvEs iT!”
Which, of course, is why it’s so popular and selling like hot cakes, oh wait… it’s not, at all.
I’m not diminishing. I’m saying that’s a hot take. Going against the grain, and I salute you for it, even if I personally like the Honda E design.
You must be wrong because I on the other hand think it looks great.
I second this. Such a cool looking car, but the range is too low and the price is too high to really compete.
Feels like this generation’s BMW i3
I mean, the 2014 i3 was more competitive on paper than the Honda E when it came out years later. I may be a bit biased though lol

Sounds like the same game BMW played with the i3 and i8.
That’s the same game that most legacy automakers are playing. I would set that none of them are really full in.
Hope so. I’d like a smaller EV but can’t stand the look of Minis.
