Its purpose is to work out the bugs and really dial in how to make a fantastic electric car. They’re going to keep fucking around until battery tech gets legitimately cheap. At that point they’ll go all in and release stuff like an affordable Honda-e with high range.

That’s the same game that most legacy automakers are playing. I would set that none of them are really full in.
