It really won’t
It really won’t
Yeah just for the record OP, we’re only sporting rivals, that’s it. If youse went bang tomorrow you’d be forgotten in a snap and it will always be that way.
Don’t think it’s edgy to want nothing positive for those who sing about tragedies, which wasn’t a handful or a few bad apples, not helped by the pathetic response your club put out. As reasons go for disliking a club and/or it’s fanbase it’s pretty not ‘edgy’ I reckon. In fact, I’d say it’s a pretty damn good reason for never wanting to play them again, hence the desire for their relegation. What they’ve achieved as a club is incredible, and it’s been tarnished by your fans. Embrace it, accept it, change it. Anyway crack on dismissing it and playing it down, works wonders that. Have a good one.
Rude is tragedy and homophobic chanting, good to see everyone backs them though 👍
Any goodwill they have as a team is outweighed by their scumbag fan base. Fair play to them for putting up a hell of a fight but I wish nothing but misery on their fans. The sooner they go back down the better.
He doesn’t have the defensive instincts that you hone as a young player, so there are times that he doesn’t ‘sense’ the danger, and he looks poor as a result. But, barring that, he as everything you need as a top level modern wing-back AND there isn’t another player in that position as creative and/or technically gifted as he is.
Put it this way, if Liverpool’s academy had planned him to be an FB during his development and not a midfielder, he’d probably be the best to ever play the position. Count yourselves lucky 😉
Might be his last game
I’d say go for it. The more talent is spread around the Isles the better.
I’ve got a feeling Liverpool would be on there if it weren’t for having half a stand closed off.
Not sure about toughest but he is the most unhinged
Most dramatic was the 2006 FA cup final, by a fair distance. Incredible atmsophere, great goals, own goals, freak goals, back and forth and a shout-out to top it all.
France in 2010 is downing tools.
Most of their players are just shit.
I’m not quoting it but the whole ‘United are back!’ Bit from Rio is not only hilarious, but should have cost him his reputation. To loudly claim that United had shed years of mediocrity thanks to a manager from Molde winning a few games on the spin, that he should receive a Carte Blanche contract too? Even at the time people raised an eyebrow but not Rio, all steam ahead. Just Wonderful.
It’s probably worse than ‘you won’t win anything with kids’ as at least Hansen had the sense to admit he was wrong by season’s end. Rio stuck to it for about 3 years before meekly keeping his head down and hoping we’d forget as Ole got booted. Utter clown.
Pass and move.
Just because you’ve not heard of it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist.
It’s very unlikely.
The next closest are Milan and the chances of them being in it on a consistent enough basis AND being good enough is a long shot to more than double their current haul.
Liverpool are in a very competitive league where an iffy season can see you out of it, but even if they do maintain the high level they’ve been at for the last 6 years, it’d still be very unlikely they’d catch up before Madrid won another. Hell, even if they’d won the two recent finals they’d played them in, they’d still be 4 behind.
Bayern is the most likely as they have the right mix of monopoly over their league to cherry pick the best of it while still have it be competitive enough to be sharp and be in it consistently. However, 8 titles is… a big, big gap.
All the others aren’t even worth considering.
In reality, they did win 5 of those titles at a time when it wasn’t really seen as a serious competition and that’s what will keep them ahead essentially forever.
