We are winning way more corners than last season. If you win 10 corners a game you are going to score one if you have dedicated plans. Teams are parking the bus and making us go wide so what we are doing is winning many corners and scoring goals. Once teams clock that we are very threatening from corners they would try to avoid conceding that many which would mean more space in the middle to exploit.

The schedule is weird because epl has 8 teams in Europe. Also the European coefficient will determine if there are 4 or 5 teams in ucl. It’s in the leagues best interest to give all teams a better chance to make a decent run in Europe.

It’s a split second decision. If he felt confident in going for goal then that’s fine. Players especially strikers need to be given that freedom.
