I always liked the Monty Python one, and want to try the pirates themed one. Fluxx games are really fun indeed.

Depending on what I am looking for:
From this same thread I am sure I will use https://www.gnoosic.com in the future.
This looks great. I’m looking forward to getting the finished version.
The standard solo recommendation currently is Ironsworn: great mechanics, fun, and free. It’s easy to play as all the rules can be explained as: throw dice and the result can be good, “good but (something not so good happens too)”, or bad.
You also can get Black Streams Solo Heroes. A small supplement with rules for solo OSR. Maybe Cairn or Mausritter can be easier if you have no experience. Even Mork Borg has a free version, combined with the solo rules Solitary Defilement can be amazing if you like the setting
Some solo games are more focused on the journaling side, pretty much making up what happens based on some random prompts.
Another option is getting a game master emulator. There are lots for free that you could use pretty much with any game. “One page solo engine” is a great option.
I can’t pick just one band, however, I clearly remember the first time I listened to
I’m sure there are more if I think for longer.
It was really good to be honest.

I started with no TTRPG experience at all around a year ago. There are some games (like D100 or Four Against Darkness) closer to a boardgame than an actual TTRPG. You throw dice and go with the results, no need to roleplay.
Regarding solo boardgames, I would say games where you play alone together, like each player doing it’s own thing in the board with minimal interaction or minimal rules modifications. Spirit Island already mentioned is one great example, Cartographers, Sprawlopolis or Agropolis, Resist!, One deck dungeon… seriously, there is an amazing amount of options depending on your taste (deck building, throwing dice, etc.).
Are you me? I usually find out 3-4 new records every week. I can’t promise I will listen to them again anytime soon though, but I enjoy them!
Of course not 😅 I’m not judging them at all, I finished years ago that phase where I thought my music taste what better than theirs now I just know it is /s
I linked it somewhere else in the thread. I’m finding there a lot of “new” stuff really interesting, even some of my favourites album are included here!
But I thought the first sign of getting old was making those noises when sitting down, etc.
I have never used rateyourmusic to check new stuff, but it was mentioned before in the thread. Is it good?
Reign in Blood
I see you are a man of culture. I’m not really into the thrash metal scene beyond some albums from Testament or Machine Head, but that album is amazing. What Rick Rubin achieved there was wonderful.
KEXP and BBC Radio 6 are great for pop/indie music. Have you tried them?
I have discovered so many great bands using Discovery Weekly! Not all the suggestions are the best, but I usually can understand why they were suggested.
I’m doing something similar following this project https://1001albumsgenerator.com you don’t need to register with an email, although it helps. A new album is suggested everyday, and even if they are not they kind of music you usually like, I am sure you will be able to appreciate why it was included in the list.
Yeah both options are the best, I am not even able to pick one or the other. Actually, why would you do that? So many great music that’s it’s impossible to pick just one.
I was opening the question due to some people saying music “it’s not the same anymore”, when they actually mean “I still listen to the same music I used to”. Nothing wrong with that either, but my point is there is still good music to be discovered.
Some internet radios can be great to find out new bands, but I agree with you: things can get a bit same-y if always listening to the same genre.
Amazing band, one of the best gigs I’ve gone to this year.
