Starfield is kind of bad. Terrible story, constant loading screens, barren worlds, the list goes on. Not really worth going to the hassle of getting it working on Steam Deck in my opinion.

I feel this is bad advice. 1 dead pixel on a screen with this resolution is equivalent to a 4K screen with multiple dead pixels. If you ever hope to resell the Deck in the future do you really want to have to deal with the buyer complaining about a dead pixel?

You are paying top dollar for this machine and you shouldn’t ignore any dead pixel especially since the cheaper models of Deck don’t seem to have this problem to the same degree plus Valve can afford it.

I would be expecting zero dead pixels. The OLED screen is the signature feature of the product so it better be perfect.

Don’t feel bad about returning it, Valve can afford it.
