Your device will very likely be 100% fine. Keep in mind that the relatively tiny minority of people who receive defects are way more likely to report it online than the significantly bigger group of happy customers who received a perfect device and don’t have any reason to share their experience on Reddit.

That’s a pretty underrated big-picture benefit tbh. I’m one of the people who upgraded but the more Steam Decks that reach people’s hands and convince Valve to keep growing and supporting this awesome device is an absolute win for all handheld enthusiasts
Label created doesn’t mean it’s in UPS hands. It just means Valve has initiated things on their end but hasn’t actually dropped it off at UPS yet.
Anyone else who ordered within the first few seconds of launch still waiting for their unit to actually ship? UPS delivery estimate says Friday but there’s still no update aside from the tracking label being created.
My nearby friend who ordered 90 minutes after me got his delivered yesterday which is mildly annoying.
