I live in Canada and played in the best amateur men’s league in the province and also for the University of Guelph in my late teens/early 20’s. I was crap tho tbh just incredibly fast until my late 20’s to mid 30’s where I figured it out and dominated our city men’s league (about 125,000 ppl). Wish I had a better understanding of the game when I was younger but even at the high level back then it resembled the hectic pace of the new pressure era. Often felt like a fitness competition or hockey game rather than a proper game. You couldn’t receive the ball anywhere without getting whacked and the long ball was everything since the midfield was a bloodbath. Anyway I was crap but enjoyed the last dozen years or so playing once a week with my good friends more than anything else

Ole or Mourinho. Jose revealed the real problems behind closed doors and imo Ole deserved more time/support

To be fair Mourinho or even Ole should have been given more time. I’m fine with downtimes but there has to be a clear direction with the proper support and time to pull it all together. Can’t keep having a revolving door at manager considering the state of the rest of the club.
