Dude looks more relaxed. I think he’s taken the captain roll very seriously & it may weigh on him.

Lotta traffic to get through there.
Alex Song played at Highbury?!
I want to say Conference Championship tournament is dogshit, but then you see Villa there getting valuable experience in midweek European play and lean more towards it having value. And of course for the smaller leagues, every chance at glory has got to be coveted. And ask West Ham followers whether it meant something to them, and of course it’s a valued comp.
Well done in her indoctrination. Weekends will have way less conflict.
Arteta cause he’d rightly point out that 80% of my possessions are foggging bullshit & to get rid of them.
Kai> Eddie for me at the false 9 tomorrow.
Troussard first on, then Eddie, then ESR.
Zinny at LB, subbed off if there are defensive concerns.
Klopp flipping the middle finger at the Europa tournament and saving his players for league. Champions League or nothing for big teams as I hope it is for our management.
Where the team looks stagnant to me is when we receive passes from the back line. Most of the time the ball seems to go straight back to them. I know as a viewer we have the advantage of seeing the whole field so it’s easy to be critical, but I’d love to see us turn upfield a bit more often and see if we can find some open space on the carry. There’s a bit of a hole where a team often places their #10 for us.
Will Citeh have a difficult time recruiting now that Pep has a departure date? I was looking at its roster for today’s game, and though Pep has an eye for talent, it wasn’t as stacked as much as previous years. Tbf, though, it’s missing KDB and Rodri, two huge pieces.
(side note) Imagine what Shit would look like if they were missing Son and Madison (I know, not like for like for KDB and Rodri position-wise, but impact-wise yes.).
Heard that. South side of Accra is known as a box to box midfielder factory.
Partey has that Spanish experience. I think he gets the starting nod tomorrow. Where on the the field…? I don’t know.
This thread devolved into shitting experiences.
We’re finally in a position to not look desperate going into a transfer window where we need to plug blatant gaps in our roster. Definitely negotiating from a position of strength.
Guy is a geeky early twenty-something besides the fact that he’s a millionaire, world-class footballing winger. Good for him. Don’t let the fame warp you, lad!
Honestly, and hockey fans will appreciate this more, Eddie strikes me as an enforcer for the squad. We all remember when he got in the face of Declan last year. We lost that when Granit left. I think Eddie is strong too and can push a defender around, also something no one else gives us (maybe Jesus too?). But I agree that he doesn’t create too much opportunity, though he’s decently clinical in front of goal which is the bare minimum for a side like Arsenal. He had a good run last winter; let’s see if that’s his preferred season to have some production.
Glad we played Brentford away without Toney. He can be clinical in his finishing, and they were missing that.
