It seems like the display hardware is there, I think the biggest blockers to truly indistinguishable MR are FoV (which theirs is good but still not truly indistinguishable) and the cameras feeding data the outside world in which will always adjust differently to contrasting light and changes in focus than our eyes will.

The displayed range on startup is really just based on your current average efficiency + exterior temperature. It dropping precipitously under those circumstances isn’t concerning.

Overall, I’d focus on how much % SOC you use and get a feel for your commute rather than worrying about displayed range. That’s just the car trying to estimate based on external factors and isn’t worth worrying too much about until you’ve got quite a few miles on the car and it’s got a better estimate of your averages.

Maintenance matters not just how it was driven. If it was part of their team fleet it almost certainly was immaculately cared for, and that should offset any hard driving it was subject to.

Why not 80%? Imo it’s a pretty major faux pas to charge past that on a busy public charger.

That 18 minute claim is 100% real too. It’s an actual game-changer for road trips. I’ve driven two 2000 mile round-trip drives in my EV6 and it barely ended up taking longer in real time than when I did that same trip in an ICE since most of my stops were restroom/food breaks I would’ve already taken in my ICE.
