I’d previously sworn I’d never buy another gas car and then my golf died.
Initial reasoning was purely environmental. Work already paid for 100% of my gas, so there are no fuel savings for me.
Now that I’ve had one, I’d add the following reasons: they are quiet, smooth, warm up super fast in the winter, and I never have to freeze my ass off at a fuel pump in winter anymore.
I’ve used several different pcie to nvme adapters, including cheap Amazon ones. They’re doing pretty much nothing except connecting the pcie traces from the NVMe drive to your pcie interface.
They’ve all been reliable and work well.
