Witch Spring R is super polished. I’m not very far into it, but there’s already so much that’s just fantastic. I already love it.
I couldn’t get into Cross Code. It has everything where I should love it but I’m not sure what it is. I’ve tried twice to get into it.

Acoustics. I had the noisy version of the 2 fans on my OG without even realizing it. It was so noisy it limited what I would play and ended up hardly using it. Found out that I had the noisy fan and that the new deck both runs cooler and has an even quieter fan. That was an instant sell for me paired with the OLED. I went from having a whiny fan blasting on full in Coral Island to having it unnoticeable. I love it.
I have something weird going on too. My left track pad has that rattly click vibration on the left. On the right it’s just a click. Then when I’m in game it makes a constant rattly vibration every movement on the right trackpad and not on the left. Maybe I’m an idiot and this is something to do with haptics?
I respect you’ll get your wish. It was just recently down to $42 (-30%) just a few weeks ago. I’d like to see it hit <=$30 as a sweet spot, but I’d be surprised to see that before next year.

Burn in on TVs at this point is mostly down to gross negligence from the owner. I have about 12,000 hours on my CX48 that I use for productivity, work, gaming, and school — it’s on almost all day… and I have no burn in.

What are people’s experience with 512 GB storage? Will I appreciate the extra space with 1 TB?
I’m having second thoughts around getting the 1 TB LE. I only really play indoors and I don’t really feel like I need 1 TB over 512gb. Saving a $130 + tax is pretty significant considering I don’t really “need” it to begin with.
One thing that will change in how I use storage compared to my current usage is because I’ll be downloading some of the higher end games on the new one. Previously the excessive noise (I just learned I have the louder OG fan) so I expect now for that to no longer be a blocker.
It’s on Game Pass, so I went with Witch Spring R and Wondering Swords instead.
