Love how defensive Newcastle flairs are in this thread. Just wait, I’m sure there’s gonna be something that comes to light, if it’s happening to city then it’ll happen to them as well.

Definitely, considering how skeptical the transfer looked converging how little time he actually played PL minutes he’s looked like a really good bit of business.
Can’t say the same for James Trafford who still has me scratching my head how City managed to get that much of a fee for a pretty raw keeper.
The most fun watching United has come from Ole-ball. Sure it had its downsides and was pretty inconsistent at times but the exhilaration of some of those large margin victories and performances makes it worth it.
Flexibility and players that have a Swiss army tool type of skill set is the main thing. Possession is the key in Peps system, and basically every player has great close control and rarely gives the ball away. That just lets players slot into different positions while allowing for the same patterns of play.
The only certainty we can actually be reliant on is city going on some ridiculous winning streak post Christmas period. I always gauge how much of a chance any team has around then cuz that’s when they start taking shit seriously.
What’s the endgame at United in general now though. We’ve been through so many management styles and personnel changes and various formations and whatnot. What even is the point in this circus if there isn’t some kind of buy in from the club as a whole?
Idk if a point deduction covers the extent of the breaches if they are true. This is a multiple title winning club and treble winners, those achievements are tainted beyond compare should they be allowed to remain, and idk if an asterisk next to each trophy in hindsight is enough of a solution.
