Getting to the stage of just giving up hope at all now, in my opinion steam have currently stolen £500 from me, no updates since shipping, no customer support there must be some law against this now as far too many people are being left in the dark. I know it’s GLS who are holding these parcels but the fact that valve chose to use them and are still using them when this is currently going on clearly shows they don’t care about their customers there must be something we can get in a way of compensation for the lies we are being told by both value estimate shipping and GLS by holding £500 worth of goods per person

This will probably be the worst news but GLS site may be wrong, if u look at gls-info.nl (press the 3 lines top right and can change the language to English) and it will say it’s been received but not even left warehouse, Parcelforce have confirmed mine isn’t even in the UK yet so they are all sitting in a warehouse in the Netherlands

I ordered mine on the monday after launch and got left in the dark all week, got shipped out Sunday evening and again I’m left in the dark, we get told nothing I don’t know if my SD is in the UK, is missing or just sat in the Netherlands hub

Is it the LCD deck

So you have an issue with ONE GAME wow I better cancel my order immediately even though every game I want to play seems to work well and I wouldn’t care if I have to do extra steps that’s what YouTube for to help people get things working but guess your right I better cancel straight away… na I’ll rather have fun and learn new things I have to do

I have all the platforms and just waiting for my deck to be delivered, In my opinion it means I won’t be using as much space as I won’t need the same game downloaded to all consoles

I think all types have had dead pixels, the thing is only people who have had the issue have posted about it the ones who don’t have the problem won’t need to say it, if your worried about getting it and having dead pixels and having to wait longer as u need to send it back and wait for a repair I would recommend any of the LCD models, if u have any issues ifixit sell all the parts and have all the repaid guides u need

I did ticket to steam, they said the expedited delivery time after GLS take over is 5-10 days for UK, GLS has a contact section at the bottom of their tracking page

I’ve ordered my steam deck and it’s ready to ship but I’ve also got PS5, Xbox series X and switch, the tbh vs that I’m looking forward to the deck is playing bigger games portable but until I actually get it I won’t know what it’s really like, a lot of the time I reach for my switch for a quick play but then again there are some games that are best played on the consoles plus it helps save spaces on each of my systems

There is a steam deck compatible guide for nearly every game, it tells you what is easiest to play and things that could be difficult to play

I would check it if I was you depending how long you need to wait as if u look and it’s been a while steam might say it was accidental damage

This is the comment I saw the advice on it might be easier to look there, I believe it’s a bug but it dosnt say if it’s a permanent fix, there are a lot of posts about this unfortunately

I’ve looked back at an older post from yesterday it says you need to connect a keyboard via USB and hit enter

I would say the PS3 version would be better as it was more powerful

I haven’t got my deck yet but I know there is a prompt at the bottom of the screen when your on the first menu screen, does that work, would love to know the solution if it dosnt as one of the main reason I’m getting the deck is for sea of thieves

If you go to your account details there is an option called my purchase history, then next to steam deck there is view shipment details, it will either say packed items or shipped: tracking number
