22k is a cost of used 996. To replace body panels for this is idiotic price. Shouldnt insurance cover it?

I misread this thread as in you’re buying a car for Xmas - for your wife!! - and most people told you to buy the Ferrari EVO casually, and it’s like consensus and you figured yes and some back and forth… and all I’m thinking wtf this guy is buying a Ferrari EVO for his wife and I one thinks this is nuts or questions if it’s believable.

When I compare this car to a Range Rover I think it makes sense in terms of price and fun to drive.

I would not get it in “minivan white” though. Something classy, like champagne/platinum/desaturated greens/grey metallics would suit this much more.

Dont buy X3M. It will feel like cheap car after X5 (hard truth but someone has to say it). X3 is also not that much smaller compared to your X5, humorist on bad roads as lighter, etc. No no.

I thought many Porsche vins come back weird on analytics (unlike BMW which is almost always correct).

For 50k you get a nicest newest 997 you can in good color.

I like them without the splitters. The lip / wheel combo look is a stylish choice.

Taycan is like panamera but better in every way so you made the right choice. It will be my daily when they go down in value a little, as I think packaging for the money is rather poor. Love the Taycan though on looks and drives like my 997 in town.
