It’s like people forget why they’re called penalties to begin with.
Mid table means you’re established in that position. Chelsea would need to finish there multiple consecutive times to really be considered one. Just like Newcastle aren’t considered a proper champions league club yet, because we don’t know if them finishing top 4 was a one off or not.
If you’re allowed to pull the goalkeeper’s arm and barge them to the ground I’d be telling my players to do it throughout the whole match. It’s a foul, some people get way too hung up on the “game going soft” and ignore really obvious fouls
Most accurate answer here for sure
They can’t claim to be the best league in the world if they admit City have been cheating, it’s embarrassing.
They won’t get punished, they value the “best league in the world” branding too much. No way they’ll admit the team that’s dominating it is doing it by cheating
I think some people need to realise that it takes a lot more time to investigate 115 charges. I fully believe city should receive the heaviest possible punishment and I also know full well they are going to get away with it, but it’s not surprising that Everton took less time to investigate. It’s still disgusting that Everton are getting a 10 point deduction while city will probably get off with a bogus fine, but still
Chelsea historically have won stuff even during their worst spells. Their worst ever premier league season aside from last year, they won the title the year before and the year after.
United have been consistently not in the title picture for a decade. Even when they win other cups they’re nowhere near consistent enough to win the league.
Chelsea will win it first
Should’ve been sent off. Took his top off, and then took his crop top off. Refs bottling it once again
It’s nuts how many more early kickoffs Liverpool get than everyone else.
It’s disproportionate how much more Liverpool get the early kickoffs. Arsenal could have one more than the next most and you’d be raging
I’d also say not including rival teams. Otherwise you can just pick your rivals most embarrassing match.
I remember a few NLDs have been really entertaining. The one from the start of the 19-20 season where arsenal came from 2 down i remember being really good.
People have been going insane over him. Maybe not now but that’s just because we’re used to him now. Everyone knows he should’ve won the ballon dor but messi winning that isn’t a shock
City the only team where pulls in the box at set pieces that happen every game get called as a penalty. City player is allowed to commit two red card offences in quick succession and remain on the pitch. City get a penalty when their player committed the foul. City get a ref who was so crap he got demoted and has a bad history with City’s opponent.
It’s fine though, not like they’re under investigation for breaking tonnes of financial rules or anything
I think if Kane was still there they’d still be doing mint personally. Might not look exactly the same but the players all love playing for ange and that is making them play better. Only way i think Kane disrupts that is if he for whatever reason hates Ange’s style and influences the other players into that mindset, which I doubt he’d have done.
The situation does remind me a little of Coutinho leaving us though, the star player leaving allowing others to flourish.
He’s English
not applicable here actually but he plays for madrid and it’s marca so same logic
Both arsenal and Chelsea were good at the time of Cole’s move. For a lot of the others arsenal have been a step below, and for Havertz it’s the opposite
the manner of his departure was also bad
