I bet he has a good cross on him like KDB and we just don’t get to see it. I personally do feel he would be even better on the left.

I hate to say it but I think you’re right about Santi. Brilliant player but people forget he was quite ineffective at times as well. That one performance at City kind of drove us all mad with Santimania. Helps that he was such a likeable guy as well.
That was incredible
If Ange is so inspiring and motivational why doesn’t he motivate himself to go on a treadmill?
Was never worried about Spurs anyway
Suck on that Ange you fat cunt
Hold Kai’s hand! Send him love letters in the post. Let’s set up a GoFundMe for him!!
Of course. But apparently we need to kiss his arse.
I think it’s safe to say that Saliba is going to be the best centre back in the world. The only difficulty will be keeping the likes of Madrid away from him. I’m sure he wants to win major trophies with us first though.
I totally agree. It’s a shame we couldn’t keep Xhaka and get a Partey understudy with the Havertz money though. Cause injuries or not, Partey isn’t a long term option for us.
Basically: little kids like him cause he scores goals, and little kids buy shirts. That’s reason enough for a clown club like United to keep him.
Another LW? Great! That’s exactly what we need.
Especially if Spurs get brought back down to reality at the same time. Tbh I would like Harry to win a cup as his quality deserves it but would love for Granit to win the league.
Everyone’s saying to give Havertz time but no one saying the same for the goalie experiment. I agree it’s probably cost us points so far (or at least it could have done) but I do think it could pay off in the long run, if the two of them get some confidence and Arteta establishes a proper mode of rotation.
Or perhaps as some say this is all just cover for him wanting to replace Ramsdale. Either way I think it’s fair we give it a bit of time. Ramsdale definitely left a bit to be desired last season, it’s good that Mikel is proactive about trying to improve the team. In the long run this could end up being genius.
People are complaining about the draws and that’s fair enough, we can always improve. But really that is an amazing stat, and our big game performances have improved substantially under Mikel. That’s something to enjoy, even if there are some other very mildly concerning signs. We’re a million miles away from when we used to go into every single one of these games (apart from Spurs lol) absolutely dreading it.
I think he could still do a job at 74. I’d love to have seen him at another club, maybe back in Japan or something.
Yes, but it’s not Zinchenko that uniquely did that, it was just replacing Tierney with a more apt passer. There are many other players who can do that. Ultimately it was the change of system that benefitted us, and the change of personell was a necessary part of that but that does not mean that their individual quality is irreplaceable or is what made us good. He’s a good player but very flawed as well, Stevie Wonder could see that.
I agree. Raya is still #1 for me, he’s had a particularly awkward bedding in period but he’ll be fine. I personally feel he’s just visibly better than Ramsdale, out of character mistakes aside. Ramsdale’s mistakes go under the radar a bit more because usually when he lets something in he at least almost saves it. But that’s the problem with Ramsdale, how many times did he “almost” save a fairly saveable shot last season? And we all said “hmm, maybe he should have gotten to that” but they weren’t absolute howlers so they didn’t draw attention. Regardless, a goal is a goal and a save is a save.
He did it a LOT last season. On balance maybe it’s worth it, but I think the impact of both him and Jesus was overstated last season, I think the team in general improved a lot and they were part of that. But it’s not that their signings were literally why we got better. Gabriel, White, Saliba, Martinelli, Partey, Odegaard and Saka are our best players, Jesus and Zinchenko do not make that list.
I hated United and Spurs but would be sad to see them gone from the Premier League.
On the other hand, if Chelsea and/or City got relegated, it would probably be the happiest day of my life and I would never get bored of laughing about it. I hope they get banished to a level where Ryan Reynolds and that guy from Always Sunny have to try and save them.
