I’ve looked into this locally and a number of stores ban filming inside without written corporate permission, some ban smart glasses outright and it seems reasonable to assume smart glasses are filming if worn. Just a path for any retail workers reading to pursue their own workplace ban through management, hr, corporate or other means.

As a cashier comfortable speaking for all cashiers, these sorts of checkout charity and pushing them verbally or on the pinpad should be illegal. So overwhelmingly sick of them.
