Second the current BEV are simply placeholder beta products while better batteries are developed. Toyota, CATL, BMW are all talking about releasing 500 mile minimum range cars in 2025/26. Some are showing real world 600+ mile ranges in their test vehicles. With how much current BEV demand has dropped. When the new tech is on the lot for sale. With these current cars obsolete and no longer wanted. Just to melt them down and remake a new car. Who is going to pay to re-engineer and re-design new tech batteries to fit an old used car?

Third charging system standardization when the govt finally sets a standard here in the USA like Europe did hopefully your now obsolete battery car uses that standard. Because already all the old j1772 cars are SOL at any new chargers.

So here we go again companies making more waste&profit in the name of green not “environment”. We need more clean generation of electricity to replace the gas being used otherwise it’s just moving the pollution from off the roads and hidden in an industrial park most randomly if never see.

Brake maintenance yes yearly minimum… Have had to service them twice because they rusted and failed from lack of use. 🙄 The caliper is expensive(1 is 10x cost of pads) I would rather the cost of brake pads getting worn down. And fast/quick in a straight line only.
