Bc Lens is a slept on side who finished second in ligue un and played at home to a fan base that hasn’t seen Champions league football in over 20 years. PSG is a white collar side playing against a blue collar Newcastle side away that hasn’t seen champions league in just about as long.

There’s nothing blue collar about Newcastle mate despite what they want to think of themselves. They are one of the richest clubs in the world backed by one of the scummiest and awful countries in the world.

Think they’re referring to the fan base mate. Fully agreed about the club tho

We are way too predictable and slow in our attack. We lack cutting edge with our moves. We move to the rest defence position in a slow and composed manner and then we do the same passed again and again with no impact. We lack variety in our attacks. Sometimes we are able to open up the defence and it’s beautiful to see that. But most often with more defence personal, this is like threading a needle and the amount of times we pull it off is lesser as well without our first choice wingers.

Without goalscoring and creating wingers we are dead. We need atleast 1 of martinelli or saka on the field to score but more importantly create. Most of our players seemed to have an off day, just didnt do well at all

Yeah it honestly was more likely that Tomi puts away that golden chance from the corner and Lens aren’t able to finish their chances (which both took class to finish and they deserve credit for) and it finishes 2-1 or 2-0 Arsenal. Sometimes the bounces don’t go your way, and that’s fine. Arteta needs to plan to minimize that in the future though

Who cares? Like who actually cares about what Newcastle does? Have we forgotten who we are? We are the Arsenal. Who gives a fuck what Newcastle does

Well let’s just wait and see what happens when Newcastle heads to Paris before we make too many assumptions. If you don’t think the atmosphere in Lens and in Newcastle today didn’t affect us and PSG even a little then this conversation is pointless. Also, it’s game 2 out of 6. We can still top the group

Newcastle pressed very hard and they were dangerous every time they got the ball in PSG’s half. Good performance from Newcastle and horrible structure by PSG.

Our team that played Lens would get smashed 3-0 by that Newcastle at St. James tbh

The same reason we lost the premiership last season, we don’t have the mental capacity to perform for 90min in every single game of the season.

Lens played a lot better than PSG did today. Newcastle attack was far better than ours, especially loved Isak today
