Luan was a 17-year-old trans boy. When authorities recovered his body, injuries to his neck and face, blood, burns and preliminary forensic observations pointed to severe violence before his death.

Firefighters had extinguished flames in the field before Luan was discovered face down and partially undressed. Police documented possible drag marks and tire marks nearby and collected a sandal, necklace and phone-charger cable from the area. Those physical traces became part of the homicide investigation, but the available record did not determine whether Luan died at that location or was brought there afterward.

In the days that followed, Civil Police sought surveillance footage and information about vehicles that may have traveled near the area. Rain had affected portions of the scene, adding another obstacle to efforts to preserve and examine potential evidence. No suspect had emerged in the latest verified reporting.

Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God from your whole heart, and from your whole soul, and from your whole mind, and from your whole strength. This is the first commandment.’

Mark 12:31 But the second is similar to it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Jesus lied to everyone. Is that what I should do?

Jesus did not invent the golden rule, dumb fuck. Nor did he live by it.

                  He lived by it.

                  Wrong.

Matthew 5:44 But I say to you: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. And pray for those who persecute and slander you.

And he didn’t do that. Death threats in Luke 13:

“I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

                  And in Mark:

“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

                  And in John:

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

                  And in Matthew:

“But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.”

He explicitly denied forgiveness in Matthew:

“And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.”

Telling people to fear him in Matthew 10:

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Condoning slavery and beating slaves in Luke:

“And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating.”

Matthew 5:45 In this way, you shall be sons of your Father, who is in heaven. He causes his sun to rise upon the good and the bad, and he causes it to rain upon the just and the unjust.

How does one live by this bullshit? “The sun comes up. Good and bad people get rained on.” So?

Matthew 5:46 For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Do not even tax collectors behave this way?

                  Matthew 10:

““Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household.”

And you’re conveniently ignoring that all of Jesus’s “love” was founded on “OBEY ME OR SUFFER”.

Stop diluting righteous anger with pleasantries.

They’re not resting peacefully, they’re just dead.

Either be fully and justifiably angry at the reality of what has happened, or don’t.

                Here are 5 truths:

                They’re dead.

We don’t know what happens after death.

People are miserable and some need hope

If my loved one was lost I would hate to see someone say that they’re nowhere.

All of these religious people who say horrible shit about trans people and make their lives hell embolden and enable this sort of violence, then try to wash their hands of it: “Oh, well, we just didn’t want them to use certain bathrooms or read stories, we love Jesus and didn’t want this.” Fucking hypocritical assholes. All of Christianity is a cesspool of uncompassionate illogical dross.

Are allies gonna start speaking up for trans masculine people and trans men because if not then I don’t care anymore. People forget that trans masculine people and men grow up dealing with misogyny and violence too and it never goes away for most but you only ever hear about trans women needing protection and I’m sick of it.

No shit. Some trans people don’t even get counted in the statistics because they get labeled as a femicide when it’s a trans masculine person. We never hear as much support for trans masculine people as we do for trans women. Way to water down what I just said.

You do not have the right to remain comfortable. Your comfort should never take priority over the real world, and if it does then your comfort is at the expense of real people’s lives. That is literally the main problem with the society of the imperial core, we care about our comfort so much that it keeps us complacent even during times of genocide.

          EDIT: Rephrased for comprehension

This is why I don’t post this news in trans communities. It’s in news comms where we hear of countless horrible things everyday.

Cis people need to hear this and understand that we are an extremely marginalised group suffering hate. We are such a small minority that we can never improve this on our own without them.

Imagine if people went silent on Gaza and stopped posting about all the deaths there. Would that be a good outcome?

Nobody’s making you engage with the world but it isn’t going to stop turning on your behalf. If you feel more comfortable in ignorance then by all means live in it but it’s absurd to suggest that public discourse should cater to your sensibilities.

I am also asking myself, if it is of any relevance to tell readers, if the person was trans or not. At least at this stage, the motivation for the crime is unknown.

Does this raise awareness, or will the opposite happen? I really can’t tell.
